I’m Kavya! I’m a passionate young designer and want to use my platform and my privilege to create a better world for everyone.

Today, I’m a graduate of the Engineering Design Innovation program at the Segal Design Institute, Northwestern University. I’ve used my time here to hone my skills and abilities in the area of human-centered design. Outside the classroom, I’ve learned plenty through my jobs as a Teaching Assistant to undergraduate engineering and design students!

My undergraduate degree was in the field of Production Engineering, where I studied the intricacies of Product Design, Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Engineering. I graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, in India.

I have a huge adoration for theatre and performing arts. I love nothing more than being on stage and watching performances. I also love creating illustrations and digital artwork, reading classic novels, playing video games, and adding to my ever-growing collection of hobbies!
